I have a comment about the restrictions on your distributions. You
are the maintainer but it seems that you are creating a problem that
either you have not thought about or don't care about.
Say a toolset (like prc-tools) is developed that works fine with a
particular version of pilrc AND further,
Say you come out with a version that has a bug or two. This does
happen with the best of developers AND further,
say for some reason you are unavailable, like some other tool
developer, who will remain anonymous, you have now
created a situation where the previously working toolset can no
longer be used. Since you do not maintain or provide a link to
previous pilrc executables, a toolset that was working with a
previous version cannot be used since the distributor of that toolset
cannot distribute the working version of pilrc that might be bug free.
I think it's about time for Palm to commission someone to write a
resource compiler (with true open source) that works with GCC that if
free from restrictions that make development of toolsets difficult.
