Hi folks,
Just yesterday I read where the Palm Knowledge Base may be up in a few
hours. It still is not up and I check it regularly.
Maybe I have the wrong url but I don't think so. The url that I am using
is: http://oasis.palm.com/dev/kb/
I am new and trying to learn how to develop for the Palm OS. I have had
problems with the Conduit Dev. Kit's documentation. I asked a question
about it in another forum since, when I tried to post to the
conduit-dev-forum, it was down and stayed down for almost the whole
week-end.
Two questions: Which Conduit Programmers Companion is the RIGHT version?
There are two, with different dates. Perhaps if there are two, there may be
three. At any rate, I will post the question about the CDK documentation
being wrong, in the conduit-dev-forum, too. Next question: is anyone else
having trouble following the Conduit Programmer's Companion (Windows),
Appendix A, "Using VC++ to Build A Sample Generic Conduit? I cannot see
MyConduit in Hotsync manager, custom settings.
With me being brand-new and not knowing much at all about Palm development
and the Knowledge base being down, the conduit forum being down, the
documentation wrong and there being at least two versions of documentation
available for download and my having invested substantial moneys in all of
the attendent tools, and a few other things as well, I am left a bit
frustrated.
Any help out there?
