Bitmap resource format ....one more thing.

Ok, so I don't need the format of the bitmap resource to draw it on the
screen,
but how do I do pen testing (PtInRectangle) without knowing how large the
bitmap is?  I presume that width and height are two of the fields in the
BitmapType.  So if anyone does know the format of a bitmap, or how to get
its width and height, I would apriciate the help.
