Via a RAM upgrade, the Palm Pilot Professional can be upgraded to Palm OS 3.0. Would this essentially make the Palm Pilot Professional behave in pretty much the same manner as all other devices running Palm OS 3.0 (i.e. Palm III)? In other words, can a product certified to run on Palm OS 3.0 run on any device that has that version of the OS installed?
