I use .r files on a Mac. For example, in PageNOW! I just use the following
to insert a default services database:

/*
 * Default service database
 */
read 'DBIM' (DefaultServiceDBImage) "PageNOWServiceDB";

Same should work with PC CodeWarrior presuming you have it set up to do .r
files.
