Not sure if this is the right group, but at least it's filled with people
using palms.
I experience on my Palm V a continuous drifting of the digitizer. This means
that at given moments (about once a week), the digitizer tells me my pendown
events happen much lower than where I actually tap. This shows itself when I
tap table rows (e.g. picking a contact in the contacts db) or choosing menu
items (e.g. a category). Instead of the item I tapped, the item below that
gets highlighted. The solution to that is to call the digitizer menu in
preferences. Last week, I even has to do a soft reset, because the drift was
so big that each tap was detected two items lower, so I couldn't tap high
enough on the preferences menu to actually select the digitizer.
My question is: is this normal behaviour, or do I have a faulty device ?
