Uh, why programmatically? You aren't going to be able to do any
real work with them, unless you're looking for a backup/restore
solution. I understand someone building an app and flash loading
it, but writing to ROM isn't really a great solution for db's.
In the case of data loss, you should have your db backup to the
desktop anyway, so at the next Hotsync, you'd be back up and running
with (hopefully) minimal loss.
