Palm runs this mailing list service - they should have the
right to moderate it to prevent a user of the service from
being abusive/offensive to the other users.
lets not get into "Microsoft" law suits here :))

Palm did not wish to ban anyone, however under the statements
provided by many users on the list - and some discussions
from users with Michael to "relax" his offensiveness were
ignored. there was no choice.
i believe that with an apology, Michael Sokolov may be rejoined
with this list. i dont mind people expressing their opinion,
but at the expense of harming other users on the list - it is
not to be tolertated.
this is my opinion, and it may differ from Palm's. however it
is a "reasonable" solution to this. i would welcome Michael
back to the mailing list, under the condition what happened
before does not happen again :)
we all loose it at some time :P
cheers.
