Hmm, seeing as how Palm.Net talks UDP over the BellSouth network,
my guess is that your request is big enough to need IP fragmentation
but Palm.Net cannot reassemble these without first caching some
information about the device from at least one complete UDP packet
during the conversation?  How big is the data you're sending?
