o ICON*, SMALLICON*, BITMAP* adjustments:
- monochrome, 16 color and 256 color bitmaps are converted as needed

*finally*.. real support back in pilrc for 4 bit grayscale bitmaps!
the additions no longer hinder the dependancies on the bitmap format
(.bmp file) for each depth. only monochrome, 16 color and 256 color
bitmaps are supported, and are converted to the relevant "depths"
for the palm
