Hi All,

I'm having some problems using the network interface to dial
out through a Qualcomm QCP-860 phone using a Palm V... It seems that
the Palm can't find the phone. I assume that this means that the
phone is not responding to the signals sent out by the palm. I think
that it has something to do with the way the PalmOS tries to dial out
to make a PPP connection. I connected the palm via the serial port
to my PC and found that it sends out what looks to be compressed data
when it tries to initialize the modem from the network interface. I
tried turning off data compression but it didn't do any good. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

P.S. I have also check things such as init string, flow control, and
baud rate... nothing seems to help there either.
