If you open the R5 project in R6, it will be converted to the new project
format automatically. However, what happens after that depends on what OS
SDK you want to use :-).....
a) if you want to use the Palm OS 3.0 SDK, simply copy the Palm OS 3.0
Support folder from R5 into the R6 folder (same level as Palm OS 3.1
Support), then add
#define PILOT_PRECOMPILED_HEADERS_OFF
above
#include <Pilot.h>
in order to make it compile.
b) if you want to use the Palm OS 3.1 or Palm VII SDK, change the access
path from Palm OS 3.0 Support to the appropriate support folder in R6. You
may have to modify code in order to work with the Palm OS 3.1 or Palm VII
SDK, but for the most part changes should be minor.
c) if you want to use the Palm OS 3.5 SDK, you will need to download and
install the SDK, SDK 3.5 Update 1 from www.palmos.com/tech/tools. You will
also need to download and install the debugger plugin from
ftp://palm:[EMAIL PROTECTED] after the SDK is installed. Check out
the documentation for the Palm OS 3.5 SDK on notes on converting your code
to work with the Palm OS 3.5 SDK.

Subject: converting
Where can I read about converting CW r5 projects
to CW r6. Obviously it isn't just to use the convert tool
and then change the path to the Palm OS lib.....
