I've mentioned in the past I was working on an unzipper and download systen. I have an early beta release (Under GPL) http://palmboxer.sourceforge.net Basically it is a floppy disk replacement - instead of copying a .pdf to a floppy, you can install and hotsync it to the palm, beam it to other palms, and download it when you get to your other computer, and there are the usual file management (info-rename / delete / copy). But it can also download using the clipper into boxes (I have several demo zips on the above page). It also can unzip, untar, ungzip, and install palm databases from the "boxes". And it can install READMEs and other documents as DOC files, so you can use your favorite DOC reader. (And I do compress the doc files heavily, but not optimally). It's useful, but needs a little more work, and better docs. Other neat features are coming. It is GPL so all the source is there, but you can't just lift it and use it yourself. The UnBox conduit was hacked from Palm example code, so their license applies to it. -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/support/forums/
