Sure, that's not exactly safe programming, but even messing with the memory
semaphore can't affect the Flash ROM, can it? Did the IIIc _not_ get fixed
by a simple hard reset?
But since it's too late for that anyway... if the 3.3 flasher doesn't work
on the IIIc, then certainly our friends at Palm have such a utility
in-house. Maybe if you ask really nice.
