I'm afraid you're dreaming !

Be careful!, copying the prc to the install directory is not enough...
If you move a prc file to the install directory and then perform a HotSync,
the file remain and nothing is transfered. (don't ask me why, i just don't
know)
That's the reason why i'm using Catapult (from beiks) which helps to
create a file installer.

If you get a solution to your problem i'm interested as the use of catapult
does not exactly fullfills my needs.

Objet: Find user directory

Hi,

Are there any functions that help determine the user installing your PRC
and/or conduit? Or allow them to pick?

During the conduit install I want to copy a .PRC to the user's install
directory so it will automatically be picked up by the install tool.

i.e. C:\Palm\(UserName)\Install\My.prc

I can easily get the Palm core directory w/ cm___ functions, but how do you
find the username(s) ??

Thanks!
Jason
