Are you referring to contrast? There is a function called ContrastAdjust(),
or UIContrastAdjust() in OS 3.5. However, this brings up a dialog, and I do
not know what the deeper "system" function calls are. Looking through the
"Undocumented functions" list at the end of the SDK manual, I see something
called SysLCDContrast(), but, you'd have to do a bit of hunting (and
resetting!!) to figure out how it's called. I suppose it accepts a UInt8 or
UInt16 parameter which defines 0-100% contrast, BUT I HAVE NOT TESTED NOR
TRIED THIS!!!
If you are referring to actual color tables, there is a whole section on
these in the SDK reference (see sections on Bitmaps and UI Color List).
