Hi folks, we would like to introduce you our new SmartPalm product, combining the handy Palm platform with smartcard security. We have created a product which we believe will considerably expand the security of your already existing PDA applications, and enables a whole new range of solutions incorporating mobile processing of smart cards. To our knowledge, no manufactured full-featured smartcard readers have been available for the Palm platform until now (actually, the same should be true for other PDA platforms as well, except Windows CE which features PC-card support, and PC-card SC readers are available). Our SmartPalm device plugs in with Palm handheld computer and enables all Palm applications to take advantage of smartcard security. The applications that a mobile smartcard reader enables are manifold and ever-expanding as the Palm platform becomes more available and widespread.
