just an untested idea, what happens if you send vchrMenu to eventqueue? you can use EvtEnqueueKey to do it, but you will have to figure out parameters yourself, i am not in mood to try it right now...
idea is that with handling vchrMenu you can prohibit menu to open. so maybe by posting it you can make it open....
