hi i use addrAppNotificationCmdCallerID notification to contacts application to give me uid of contact from phone number.
on my gsm treo it works, it searches both normal database (PAdd) and contacts from sim card (PSim). funny thing happens on sprint treo 650. it searches contacts and if number is not found it creates empty file ContactsSimDB-PSim. why is this happening on cdma treo which doesn't have sim card? problem is that users see this file and they think its my application which created it and they believe its cause for some other errors they report. is there any known issue related to this which could cause problems? most common reported problem is that when this file is available then contacts freeze (and when its deleted they work again) -- For information on using the ACCESS Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.access-company.com/developers/forums/
