I've used "frmObjectFocusTakeEvent" and "frmObjectFocusLostEvent" in a similar situation. "pEvent->data.frmObjectFocusTake.objectID" returns the PopUp resource ID. The results are not very pleasant as there is a flicker (sometimes) in the form when I do something. But that may be due to something else I'm doing wrong.
