I am not doubting that Zlib works in general, when used with streams. I am just wondering whether the Zlibuncompress function itself works. It is something that few people would use in practice, and I am wondering whether it has been tested properly.
I will be using streams myself eventually, but I would like to get Zlibuncompress working, as a first step. That will allow me to test the rest of my work, before I move on to streams. That is why I am asking other people for their experience, with Zlibuncompress specifically. My test file uncompresses just fine with gzip.
