I implemented a virtual keyboard pretty much like the built-in one, and I note that in both cases, if I input the shortcut symbol and then type a valid shortcut string (as defined in OS Prefs), the shortcut string is not interpreted, unlike when input in Graffiti. How can I force the OS to interpret the shortcut sequence?
