LstPopupList replacement

I want to make function to replace LstPopupList: I have modal form (with 
more items than list only) which I draw using FrmDoDialog.
Now I want to close this form after selecting list item but the only way 
to close form for FrmDoDialog is pressing button.
Is there any way how to force this form to close programatically? I 
tried to add event ctlSelect but this doesn't work - form remains opened.

Can anyone give me same advice how to do it?
