It really is a great library.  We use it extensively in our mail app.
It does a great job of turning phone #'s, emails, and url's into
hypertext that fires up the registered app for each type of link.  You
can use it for all kinds of text formatting and coloring too.

through the documentation) this looks like a fun library :-)

T series Palms that I am aware of.  However if you try to load the
library on a T5 it will report success.  Unfortunately that's as far as
you can get because it's a false success.  The STE API's will fail with
a crash if you call them.  STE works great on the Treos though.
