Alarm Silent/Loud on Treo650

Is there any way how to programatically switch between silent/loud 
alarm? I need it to my own application...

I tried {UInt32 val=hsAttrRingSwitchMute; HsAttrSet (hsAttrRingSwitch, 
0, &val);} but it doesn't work...
