Hi all, Recently I have got a Palm Centro for software testing. My developed Palm application just works fine on all existing Palm platforms like Tungsten, Zire or Treo.
The same application can run on Palm Centro without problems. However, the performance is seriously downgraded when the operation is dealing with a number of records. By observation, a 1 second operation (for 3000 records) on Palm T3 may take more than 15 seconds to complete on Palm Centro. I have carefully analysed the involved codes and found that the root cause may be related to MemHandleLock() and MemHandleUnkock() functions. In other words, the memory operation seems quite slow compared to previous handware platform. Any advices? How can this issue be solved? Can it be solved by switching compiler options or changing the libraries, etc.? Many thanks for help. Regards, Stephen H.S.
