Ryan, What you said is true, but I really don't see a problem there.
I'm assuming we are talking about a "Log On" screen, and thus, the purpose of showing "*" instead of the real characters being typed by the user is to protect other people to see what the user is typing, when he is typing, right? Well, so what's wrong with allowing the user (which by the way, just typed the password) copy it to memory? Next, I'm not sure about FontHack behaviour, but I guess Font "Hacks" in general should not mess with explicit font changes to controls, but anyway, even if they do, I don't see a problem either, since 99% of corporate PDAs wouldn't have anything else installed but companies applications. Actually I don't remember any of my customers not wanting the "kiosk-mode" implemented in the applications I've developed for them. What are your thoughts?
