The reason you don't see an updated GCC for Palm OS 68K is because the
changes made to GCC 2.95 for building 68K applications on Palm OS were
pretty big, and no one has ported them forward to a newer source base.
 You'll see that the ARM compiler in the last PRC-Tools release is
much newer.  Unfortunately, there's not really anyone with the skills
or interest to do the 68K work.  I did the last updates for the 68K
CodeWarrior compiler (not based on GCC) back in 2003, and that's been
static since then.
