Then, you don't need a handheld at all to do that, just a PC, a SD card and a SD card reader. If you want to beam the PDF file from a PC to the SD card inside a Palm OS device, you may use PilotInstall (http://www.envicon.de/e/pinstall/pinstall.html) Indeed, the PDF file not being a PalmOS DB, you can't beam it to RAM.
