hello,
i have a form with more than 1 (and even more than 2 fields - i have about 8
fields). every field is different resource (from CW constructor) from
another - there r some "feild" fields, some "popup trigger" feilds and also
two buttons resourses.
as i read in the referance of the palm OS SDK, the FrmDoDialog ( ) display a
form untill a button is tapped. my Q is:
does it means that if i press a popup trigger ( or other feild ) in the
dialog i'll get the result of this tapped field or is this function get the
result only if button resourse is tapped?
i explain what i mean:
i have a function which open to me a new record for my DB. when it opens the
new record the field is set to defualt values, and i want it to wait until a
button is tapped ( the OK button or the Cancel button ) so that i'll decide
what to do.
so do u think i need to use this function, or u know another function that
do the same (draws the form and wait to button to be pressed)? and,
nevermide all, how do i solve this if i still want to use the frmdodialog
function?
