There is a compressor out there called "pz". It doesn't have a "self-extracting" mode, but there -is- an "extract only" version of the app. You can find it at http://www.sra.co.jp/people/hoshi/palmos/pz.html
Source is included if you get ambitious... It might be possible to initialize a db w/ the "extract only" version code and then append all the compressed databases to the end of it ... -- -Richard M.
