True, but there are potentially quite a few users for whom your product 
is absolutely the first one they've ever tried to put on their Palm.  
We've had customers who didn't know that you _could_ put new stuff on, 
and aren't particularly computer savvy.

While I agree that installing a Palm app is usually a case of 
double-clicking the .pdb/.prc file (barring file extension mapping 
problems), installing a conduit can be much more difficult from the 
neophyte's point of view.

Allowing a choice of installer (for various platforms) vs. bare file can
