Thanks Ed. It works. I had the people in Mail Delegation (instead of Calendar
Delegation).

Hi Elizabeth,

You have a problem with your Notes setup. The correct behavior for Group
Calendar is people who are granted access can see calendar events marked
public, but nothing else. This allows free time lookups and all that other
fun Notes stuff. I'm assuming you are using R5. I don't have an R5
install at my location right now, but in R4 if are in your mail file and
select Actions->Mail Tools->Delegation Profiles, you will see options for
who can read your calendar entries.

Here they are for R5 (from the Notes KNowledge Base):
   1. Open the mail file and select Actions, Tools, Preferences.
   2. In the Preferences dialog box which appears, select the
     Delegation tab.
   3. Select the Calendar Delegation tab.
   4. Select the 'Anyone Can Read My Calendar' option (which will set
the ACL as "Default= No Access", "Read Public Documents")

     -or-

Select 'Only Allow the Following People To Read My Calendar' option
and specifically choose your name (and whoever else will need to read
their calendar). This adds the specific people's names to the ACL
with "No Access", "Read Public Documents".

   5. Select OK.

If this does not fix the problem, then there is an issue with the ACL of
your mail file.

BTW, what are you guys using to synch?

Feel free to email me directly with any questions.

 - Ed

Hi All,

Have you notice that when you grant rights to access to your Notes Group
Calendar, you also grant rights to access to your emails? Are there any
tips or
tricks to prevent this? We are looking for some synchronization solutions
to

our Notes Group Calendar. Thanks.
