Dear everyone,
I'm recently facing some difficulties with a GPS application palm program.
The appilication I'm working on takes data ( timestemp, longitude,
latitude, speed, heading,... ) from a GPS receiver,
automaticly writes the data into a database every 5 seconds. The purpose
of doing this is to generate big amount of actual data of moving objects
for further research.
If you have done something related, you might be able to give me some
helpful answers on following questions.
Questions:
1. How do you debug the serial code? How do you connect the Palm device
with both desktop and GPS receiver?
2. The sample serial application in <<Palm Programming>> (
O'REILLY P260 ) "GPSreader" doesn't work at all, did
somebody fix it up?
3.If you have the source code that does the similar functionality and are
willing to share with me, that'll be great!
