Hello, Does anyone know if Sun is requiring royalties for distributing the KVM from the J2ME?
I was reading through some old messages in this forum and someone made the comment that they were selecting C++ for their Palm development instead of Java because Sun was charging royalties for the KVM. I hadn't heard anything about royalties and that seems to contradict how Sun is dealing with their virtual machines for other platforms. I've looked on their site but haven't found anything about royalties one way or the other yet.
