Is there any way to use the serial port on the palm IIIx to check the status of digital inputs. These are real simple digital inputs-switches, open or closed. If so, how many different inputs can I have. Is there any way to get the serial port to read an analog input - potentiometer. I'm trying to avoid a datalogger, pic, or ADC in this project.
