I now have my PRC compressor working. It is a bit slow, but it
compresses typically 40% or more, and this is the first pass.

It is at palmzlib.sourceforge.net under RUnZip.tgz - the compressor is
a posix CLI utility with a Linux executable.

One thing it illustrates is how Web Clippings display icons. If you
set the same fields the same way in the appinfo section, the launcher
will display them and launch their creator application with OpenDB.
That is the mechanism I use.

The decompressor PRC is under 3k (I don't have icons or anything else
for it), but requires SysZLib.prc to do the decompression.

non-app prcs or Apps using other than normal launches won't work
(since there is no way to invoke the decompressor).

It is free, but copyrighted and released under the terms of the GNU
Public License, which is included in the .tgz archive.
