You can buy a replacement digitizer on eBay for US$10 - see item #220394300832.
They are quite easy to fit. It only takes about 5 minutes, and all you need is
a T5 screwdriver. The QA is good too. Only about 5% of the LCDs and digitizers
that I import are faulty. They replace mine straight away, but then I am
regular customer.

While you are about it, you could replace the one your T3 as well. It is the
same digitizer. Indeed it is the same LCD - only the ribbon cable to the
motherboard is different. Tackling a slider is more difficult, but you will
find excellent instructions at http://www.pdaparts.com/.

Subject: TX Status Bar confused with Graffiti area

2 days ago I bought a barely used TX, both to replace my T3 and its scratched
screen and to test a seemingly TX-related Bluetooth problem a user has with my
freeware. Today, the Status Bar suddenly stopped working, instead, taps on it
appear in the Graffiti area. Accordingly, when I tap in the Graffiti area, the
tap appears about 5mm higher, yet taps above this are work OK. A hard reset
din't help. Is there a cure for that?
