First of all, your PC and the Palm read numbers differently. One is MSB
while the other is LSB. So you will have to so some sort of translation,
somewhere.
Secondly, data on the Palm must be in 'data base' (the PDB or PRC 'file'
format). As far as I know there is no way to keep data on the Palm except in
a Palm specific format.
Third, the largest chunk of contiguous memory the Palm OS can allocate is
64K, anything larger than that may cause problems. (I haven't used
streaming yet so I don't know what is involved)
That said, you may want to look at the TRG Pro. TRG has drivers so you can
read and write DOS formatted compact flash cards directly.
