I got one yesterday. I don't yet have much to contribute to the
general description, but do Twitter some notes about my experience
(reeder29) and will be launching a blog (reeder29 on LiveJournal)
focussing on "knowledge users" of handhelds (see "information users"
in http://mobileopportunity.blogspot.com/2007/01/shape-of-smartphone-and-mobile-data.html)
.
As the API hasn't been publicly released yet, the best guide is the
Rough Cuts webOS book. My two suggested slogans for webOS
programming: Things Look Different Here, or Think Different. No,
Really Different.
It's probably most courteous to Access to hold these discussions on a
webOS-specific list. What so far appears to be the best site so far
is http://www.weboshelp.net/.

I see that the Palm Pre was officially launched on Saturday (6th
June) - has anyone managed to get there hands on one yet and more
importantly, (at least from my perspective) done any coding on one
yet?
