When you create the database you tell the function what creatorID to use.

For DmCreateDatabase, it's the 3rd parameter.
I think you should also read the SDK Companion, or the O'Reilly book,

http://palmos.com/dev/tech/docs/devguide/TableOfContents.htm#TopOfPage
or both, as these are basic concepts that all developers need to know.
