Try this bit of voodoo:

Load the offending bitmap into the editor, and paint all the white parts of 
the bitmap
some other color.  Save it.  Then re-open it and go back and paint the 
newly painted
color back to white.  Save it.  Then try recompiling.  That usually works 
for me, and
I run into this problem a lot.  Isn't Constructor great?
