Hello Everyone,
I'd like to apologize again for the newsgroup access snafu that occurred
yesterday. I've reset the server temporarily so you can access the
newsgroups without a password.
Starting this Friday afternoon (4:00PST) I'll change the setting back to
require a password when accessing the developer forums via a newsgroup
reader. The reason for this is to prevent spam from making its way onto the
forums.
If you have not already created a password for your developer forums
account, you can do so by sending the following command to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
set <list-name> pw=<password>
If you've forgotten your password, you can either unsubscribe and
re-subscribe, or send me email and I'll reset it.
Note that this only affects those of you who access the lists via a
newsgroup reader. If you receive regular email or digest email, you do not
need to set a password for your account.
