I compiled the mail app obtained from Palm OS 3.5 SDK examples and
ran it on the emulator (using PalmV image ROM).
In the list view, I notice that a square box is displayed instead of
the ellipsis (...) (at the end of truncated string). Why ?
However, when I downloaded the app to a PalmIIIc, ellipsis (...) is
displayed. It works on PalmIIIc but not PalmV.
Also, in the msg view, I notice that both the abbreviated header
button & full header button are not displayed correctly on PalmV.
Instead of expected bitmaps, the abbreviated header is shown as a box
with a 'P' char enclosed, whereas the full header is shown as a box
with 'C' char in it. There is a posting on "Bitmap not displaying on
Graphic Button". I believe it is the same problem.
Another question on constructor 1.5 :
What is the difference b/w "Bitmap ID" & "Selected Bitmap ID" ?
They are parameters that can be found in the Layout Properties box of
Push Button.
