A quick newbie question. I am just starting to do Palm development. I am
using Windows 98 with Cygwin GCC, PRC-Tools, PilRC, and the SDK-3.5. I
pulled
all of the files from the palmos web page. I thought I understood how to
put
them all together, but I am having problems with the PRC-Tools Compiler
(m68k-palmos-gcc) finding the header files in my sdk directory. I have
somehow mis-installed the various components.
Here is what I did..
1. Installed cygwin in c:\cygnus\cygwin32..
2. Installed PRC-Tools into c:\program files\PRC-Tools
3. Installed SDK into c:\cygnus\PalmDev\SDK-3.5
4. Installed PilRC into c:\program files\pilrc
5. started cgywin and: ln -s sdk-3.5 sdk in the PalmDev directory
When I compile anything, I am told that various header files are not found
(usually PalmOS.h and PalmCompatibility.h). When I copy the PalmOs.h file
into the PRC-Tools\H-i586-cygwin32\m86k-palmos\include directory it is
found,
but that leads to a bunch of other "missing" header files.
What have I not done properly in this install?
Thanks,
Eric Fisch
