I have a similar problem with the Emulator. I have to reload the Emulator
everytime I change code and want to debug the code. I was closing the
Emulator and reopenning it everytime until someone on this forum told me
that I could simple reload a session on the emulator and get the reset
effect.

Subject: Serial Debugging
I am using CW R6, Emulator 3.0a6. I have written a app that uses the
Serial
Manager. When i debug it, it works fine. But often when i close the
serial
port, or simply let the emulator sit for a while it freezes. The emulator
program stops responding alltogether. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del it, and then
open up a new instance of the emulator. Any reason for it to do so? And
is
there any way to keep this from happening? There are no error messages of
any sort. It also happens when i kill the debugger, the emulator just
freezes up. Thanks,
Andrew
