If you are a beginner I suggest forgetting about tables altogether until
you are more comforable with coding for PalmOS. Tables are one of the
most tricky things to learn. Start small, then work your way up.
Eventually, you'll reach a point where following the sample code won't be
difficult, and you'll see what you need to do.
I'd also recommend "Palm Programming: The Developer's Guide", for a good
overview of tables, among other things:
