Hello,
I've been developing for the SPT 1500 from Symbol for a while now and I've
just recieved a SPT 1700.
One of the differences between those two is the OS version (3.0 and 3.2)
With Palm OS version 3.0 I could manually delete databases and streamed
files just as you delete apps you don't need anymore. I found this feature
pretty handy.
With version 3.2 this option appears to be GONE ? Is this true or am I just
mistaken ?
If this is truly the case and I can't manually delete streamed files, how
can I then delete those files when for instance my app. crashes. You can
only access files through their names and I generate those on the fly and
they're unique. So I don't have any means of deleting those files when my
app crashes. This will make sure that my available memory will decrease and
I have no way of freeing it, other then a hard reset.
Need some help on this one,
