Officially, Palm device cannot detect that a module is
connected to the serial interface of the Palm device.
The serial mgr supports polling; interruptable serial
com is not supported.
I want to build a module/gadget such that when it is
connected to a Palm device, the Palm device knows that
& it can even launch the Palm app that works with the
gadget. The data from the gadget is sent via the
serial lines.
Is there any workaround to implement this ? Can I make
use of pin GP11 or GP12 ?
I know that I can do this using Visor. However, I'm
looking at PalmV,IIIc etc.
