Yes this is the same thing, a database ID is a local ID. See the type
definition for DmOpenDatabase etc.
And to get the LocalID of your app, did you see the function
SysCurAppDatabase()? It is indeed in the manuals...
(If you're going to gratuitously slam the manuals, I guess that gives me
cause to gratuitously say RTFM back ;-)
